Cushions, headgear, tubing & filters
The cushion is the part that wears out, not the whole mask. Replacing just the cushion costs a fraction of a new mask — and it's usually all a leaking mask needs.

Forget brands for a minute. Four questions decide almost every mask.
| If this is you… | The type you want | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You breathe through your mouth at night | Full face — AirFit F20 $90 · Amara View $85 | An open mouth vents the pressure. A full face covers both — and holds up better at higher pressures. |
| You sleep on your side | Hose at the top of the head — P30i · N30i · F30i · DreamWear | Nothing sits against the side of your face, so the seal survives when you turn over. |
| You have a beard or moustache | Nasal pillows or under-the-nose — P10 $95 · N30 $89 | They seal in the nostrils, not on the hair. |
| You wear glasses or read in bed | No forehead contact — DreamWear · Amara View · Evora | Your field of view stays clear and your glasses still fit. |
| You don't know your size | A fit pack — 15 to choose from | Every cushion size ships in the box. You fit yourself the first night. |
| Your skin reacts to silicone | Memory foam — AirTouch F20 $109 · AirTouch N20 $80 | A foam cushion instead of silicone, for skin that marks or irritates. |
| You own a AirMini | Ask us first | It needs its own setup pack — a standard mask won't connect. Call us → |
This is fitting guidance, not medical advice. Your prescription sets your pressure and machine type; the mask is about your face and how you sleep. If you're between two options, call us before you buy.
Pillows vs. nasal vs. full face
Pillows & under-the-nose
Minimal contact, nothing across the bridge of the nose, and the best answer for beards, glasses and side sleeping. The trade: at higher pressures the airflow can feel sharp in the nostrils.
- Best for beards and glasses
- Best for side sleepers
- Not ideal at high pressure
Full face
Covers nose and mouth, so an open mouth doesn't end your therapy. Bigger seal to manage, and more surface that can leak — which is exactly why fit packs matter here most.
- Required if you mouth-breathe
- Better at higher pressures
- Under-nose versions keep your view
Note: Masks don't need a prescription — the machine does. If you don't have a machine yet, see our CPAP machines.
Size — and why a fit pack ends the argument
Mask size has nothing to do with your shirt size.
Cushion sizing is about the shape of your nose and the distance from bridge to lip — which is why a big person often wears a Small. Guessing costs a return and a week of bad sleep. Fifteen of the masks on this page remove the guess entirely:
- Fit pack / all-size kit: every cushion size in one box
- Try them the first night, keep the one that seals
- Tighter is not better — over-tightening causes leaks
- Reseat the cushion with the machine running
- Marks on your face mean too tight, not too small
- Leaks into the eyes usually mean wrong size
- The cushion wears out — the frame usually doesn't
- Buy replacement cushions, not a whole new mask
Masks are personal-use items and carry hygiene rules — check our returns policy before ordering. Better still, call us first: fitting people is free and it's what we do every day.

Genuine, authorized — and what that means for a mask
Authorized
We're an authorized React Health dealer — the Viva, Siesta and Rio II masks come to us through the manufacturer.
Genuine
Philips Respironics and Fisher & Paykel masks are genuine factory product. A copy cushion never seals like the original — on a mask, that's the whole job.
No prescription
Masks, cushions, headgear and tubing ship without a prescription. Only the CPAP or BiPAP machine needs one.
Almost all masks use a standard 22 mm connection. The AirMini is the exception and needs its own setup pack.

We fit, we don't guess

Fit packs first
When there's an all-size version, we'll point you to it. Fewer returns is better for you and for us.
Genuine & authorized
Authorized React Health dealer; genuine Philips and Fisher & Paykel — no copy cushions.
Bilingual, no upsell
English & Spanish. If the $68 mask is the right one for your face, that's the one we'll tell you to buy.
CPAP masks — frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription to buy a mask?
No. Masks, tubing, filters and replacement cushions don't require a prescription. The prescription is for the CPAP or BiPAP machine itself.
How do I know which size fits me?
It's the question behind most returns — which is why half our catalog answers it for you: fit packs and all size kits ship with every cushion size in the box, so you try them and keep the one that seals. If you'd rather buy a single size, call us and we'll help you measure.
What's the difference between nasal, pillows and full face?
Nasal pillows rest at your nostrils — the least mask you can wear. Nasal masks cover the nose and are the most prescribed. Full face masks cover nose and mouth, for people who breathe through their mouth or run higher pressures.
I breathe through my mouth. What should I get?
A full face mask. If you wear a nasal mask and your mouth falls open, the air escapes and the therapy loses its effect. A chin strap with a nasal mask is the other option, but a full face is the direct fix.
I sleep on my side and it breaks the seal.
Look for a mask with the hose at the top of your head — P30i, N30i, F30i, X30i or the DreamWear family — because nothing sits against the side of your face. Nasal pillows also help: there's barely any surface to break loose.
I have a beard. Can I wear a mask?
Yes. Facial hair makes it hard for full-face and larger nasal masks to seal, because they sit on the hair. Nasal pillows seal inside the nostrils and under-the-nose designs (N30, N30i, DreamWear) rest on a much smaller area. Those are the ones that work with a beard.
I wear glasses or read in bed.
Choose a mask with nothing across the bridge of your nose or your forehead: DreamWear, N30i, P30i, Amara View or Evora. They leave your field of view clear and you can keep your glasses on.
How often should I replace my mask?
The cushion is the wear item — it loses its shape and starts to leak. Headgear stretches over time too. Follow the manufacturer's schedule in your manual. We stock replacement cushions and pillows separately, which costs far less than a new mask.
Air is leaking into my eyes.
That's almost always size or tension, not the mask. Over-tightening the headgear deforms the cushion and makes leaks worse, not better. Loosen it, reseat the cushion with the machine running, and try again. If it persists, it may be the wrong size — call us.
Will it fit my machine?
Almost every mask uses a standard 22 mm connection and works with any CPAP or BiPAP. The important exception is the AirMini, which needs its own mask-family setup pack. If you have an AirMini, tell us before you buy.
Can I return a mask that doesn't fit?
Masks are personal-use items and carry hygiene rules. Check our returns policy before you buy — and better still, call us first so you get it right the first time.
What if I still get it wrong?
Call us. We fit masks every day and we know what works with which face. Tell us how you sleep, whether you breathe through your mouth, and whether you have a beard or wear glasses, and we'll tell you which one to order.
Tell us how you sleep. We'll name the mask.
Mouth breather? Side sleeper? Beard? Glasses? Three answers and we can usually get it right the first time — no prescription needed for a mask.
