Every size in the box

Small, Medium and Large pillows all ship with the mask. Cushion size has nothing to do with how big you are — it’s the shape of your nose. With all three in hand you settle it the first night.

Nothing behind your head

The strap goes over the top of your head, not around the back. Nothing to press against the pillow when you lie down, and nothing to pull loose when you turn over.

Pull the top strap and the mask self-adjusts. No side-to-side balancing, no over-tightening at 2 a.m. — which is what causes most leaks in the first place.

Nasal pillows seal inside the nostrils rather than over the nose, so there’s no cushion across the bridge and far less surface to leak. That’s why they’re usually the right answer for beards, glasses and side sleeping.

Will it fit my machine?

Standard connection — no adapter, no proprietary parts.

The Solo Pillows uses the universal 22 mm hose connection, so it works with standard CPAP and BiPAP machines. The one exception across our whole mask range is the AirMini, which needs its own mask-family setup pack — if that’s your machine, call us before you order.

This is a genuine Fisher & Paykel mask. Masks, cushions, headgear and tubing don’t require a prescription in the U.S. — only the CPAP or BiPAP machine does. A copy cushion never seals like the original, and on a mask, sealing is the entire job.

Do I need a prescription for this mask?

No. Masks, cushions, headgear, tubing and filters ship without a prescription. Only the CPAP or BiPAP machine itself requires one.

Will it work with my CPAP?

Yes, if your machine uses the standard 22 mm hose connection — which nearly all do. The exception is the AirMini, which requires its own setup pack. Call us if that’s your machine.

I sleep on my side. Is this a good choice?

Yes — it’s one of the better ones. There’s no band around the back of your head to press into the pillow, and nasal pillows have very little surface to break loose when you turn over.

I have a beard. Will it seal?

Nasal pillows seal inside the nostrils rather than resting on your face, so facial hair gets in the way far less than with a nasal or full-face mask. It’s the type we point beards toward.

It leaks. What do I do first?

Loosen the strap, don’t tighten it — over-tightening deforms the pillow and makes leaks worse. Reseat it with the machine running, and if it still leaks, try the next size. That’s exactly why all three are in the box. Still stuck? Call us.
