⚠ Before you buy — ASV is not for everyone
ASV therapy is CONTRAINDICATED in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA class 2–4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.
If ASV is right for you, this is the current generation of the device most clinicians prescribe for it — quieter, lighter, with a touchscreen. We also stock the previous generation for less, and we’ll tell you honestly when that is the better buy.
The AirCurve 11 ASV (part 39013) is the current-generation adaptive servo-ventilation device, indicated for obstructive sleep apnea in patients over 66 lb; its ASV and ASVAuto modes are also indicated for central and/or mixed apneas and periodic breathing. It works on an EPAP of 4–15 cmH₂O with pressure support from 0–6 minimum up to 5–20 maximum and a ceiling of 25 cmH₂O, adjusting support breath by breath. It runs at 26 dBA, weighs 2.7 lb with the HumidAir 11 tub, accepts up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen and adds a touchscreen. A prescription is required, and ASV is contraindicated in chronic symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2–4) with LVEF ≤ 45% and predominant central sleep apnea. Ships new in box from Doral, FL with the full 2-year manufacturer warranty and any compatible mask at 10% off.

Quick pick: all three deliver the same ASV therapy. Buy the 11 for the touchscreen, the quieter night and the much higher oxygen limit. Buy the 10 if you want to spend less on identical therapy — and the Certified Pre-Owned 10 if price is what decides it.

Frequently asked questions
I have heart failure. Can I use ASV?
Not without your cardiologist’s clearance. ASV is contraindicated in chronic symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2–4) with LVEF ≤ 45% and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea. This is a real safety limit. Ask the clinician who prescribed it before you buy.
What is different from the AirCurve 10 ASV?
The therapy is the same. The 11 is quieter (26 dBA against about 27), a little lighter, uses a touchscreen instead of a dial, and accepts up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen where the 10 tops out at 4 L/min. If you use oxygen with your ASV, that last one is the difference that matters.
How is ASV different from a BiPAP?
A bilevel machine gives you two pressures — one to breathe in, one to breathe out. ASV changes the support continuously, targeting the ventilation you were achieving a few minutes ago. When your breathing fades it gives more; when you’re breathing well it backs off, so it doesn’t over-ventilate you.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. ASV is a prescription device and the settings must come from your clinician. Masks, tubing and filters ship without a prescription — only the machine requires one.
Which mask should I use with it?
Most ASV users end up in a full face mask, because the pressures are higher and mouth leak breaks the therapy. Add one here at 10% off, or call us and we’ll pick it with you — the mask is where this therapy succeeds or fails.
Can I travel with it?
It’s a home device with a humidifier, but it is airline-friendly and fits in a carry-on — PAP devices don’t count toward your carry-on limit on U.S. airlines. Empty the humidifier before you fly. There is no travel-sized ASV.
ASV is a serious therapy. Talk to a person before you buy.
Tell us what your prescription says and what your clinician told you — we’ll confirm this is the right device, and say so plainly if it isn’t.
