The AirCurve 10 ST-A — everything the ST does, plus iVAPS and PAC
If your prescription names iVAPS, PAC or the ST-A itself, the regular AirCurve 10 ST can’t run it: it doesn’t have those modes and it stops at 25 cmH₂O. The ST-A runs CPAP, S, ST, T, PAC and iVAPS, reaches 30 cmH₂O and adds alarms your clinician can set. This one is Certified Pre-Owned: a genuine unit, inspected and tested by our technicians and sold with a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen.
Certified Pre-Owned · part 28210 · 1-year warranty by American Oxygen · prescription required · ships from Doral, FL.
The AirCurve 10 ST-A is classified as a non-life-supporting ventilator. Which mode you use, your pressures, your backup rate and any oxygen you add all come from the clinician who prescribed it. We don’t choose settings and we don’t recommend one mode over another.
What we do: check that your prescription matches this machine before it ships. If it calls for something else, we’ll tell you plainly.
Why the AirCurve 10 ST-A
CPAP, S, ST, T, PAC and iVAPS. The ST-A covers the modes of the ST and adds the two it doesn’t have. Your clinician sets the one you use.
3–30 cmH₂O in S, ST, T, PAC and iVAPS, and 4–20 cmH₂O in CPAP. The AirCurve 10 ST tops out at 25.
High leak, non-vented mask, low minute ventilation, low SpO₂ (with an oximeter connected) and apnea.
Integrated heated HumidAir humidifier, with Climate Control when you pair it with ClimateLineAir heated tubing. About 27 dBA with humidification, measured by the manufacturer in CPAP mode.
Checked by our technicians and run against manufacturer performance specs, then cleaned, sanitized and fitted with a new filter. Sold with a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen.
ST or ST-A: what the “A” adds
Same family, same size. The difference is in the modes, the pressure ceiling and what it’s indicated for.
The manufacturer indicates the AirCurve 10 ST-A “to provide non-invasive ventilation for patients weighing more than 30 lb (13 kg) with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnea (OSA),” with iVAPS indicated for patients over 66 lb (30 kg), for home and hospital use. The AirCurve 10 ST is indicated for obstructive sleep apnea in patients over 66 lb. Whether you need non-invasive ventilation, and in which mode, is your clinician’s decision. Your prescription tells you which machine it calls for.

Quick pick: if your prescription names iVAPS, PAC, the ST-A or a pressure above 25 cmH₂O, this is the machine. If it names ST or T and nothing on this list, the AirCurve 10 ST (Certified Pre-Owned) costs less and runs those modes. Want it new? See the new AirCurve 10 ST. Not sure? What Certified Pre-Owned means here
This is a genuine AirCurve 10 ST-A that has been used before. Our technicians inspect it and run it against manufacturer performance specs; then it’s cleaned, sanitized and fitted with a new filter. Cosmetic condition varies from unit to unit, so ask us about the one you’d receive.
It’s sold with a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen covering functional issues under normal use. The manufacturer’s warranty doesn’t transfer to a pre-owned unit, so the warranty on this machine is ours, and our Doral, FL team handles it.
Remote data: what to expect from a pre-owned unit
The ST-A records therapy data on an SD card, which your clinician can read. It also has a cellular modem, and which generation depends on when the unit was built. The manufacturer’s 2016 documentation lists CDMA and 3G modems, and U.S. carriers began shutting those networks down in 2022. Its 2017 documentation lists 4G LTE. The manufacturer says therapy isn’t affected when the cellular link is lost, and the data stays available on the SD card.
So we don’t promise remote transmission to AirView on this unit. If your clinician needs remote monitoring, ask us before you buy and we’ll check the unit’s label.
Prescription and manufacturer contraindications
A prescription is required. In the U.S., federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. Have your prescription ready and we’ll take care of the rest. Masks, tubing and filters don’t require a prescription; the machine does.
The manufacturer lists these contraindications: severe bullous lung disease; pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum; pathologically low blood pressure; dehydration; and cerebrospinal fluid leak, recent cranial surgery or trauma. If any of them applies to you, talk to the clinician who prescribed the device before you buy.

In short: The AirCurve 10 ST-A (Certified Pre-Owned) is a bilevel device for non-invasive ventilation with six modes (CPAP, S, ST, T, PAC and iVAPS) and a pressure range of 3–30 cmH₂O (4–20 cmH₂O in CPAP). Compared with the AirCurve 10 ST, it adds PAC and iVAPS, raises the ceiling from 25 to 30 cmH₂O and adds adjustable alarms. The manufacturer indicates it for patients over 30 lb (13 kg) with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnea, and iVAPS for patients over 66 lb (30 kg). It accepts up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen (4 L/min in iVAPS), has an integrated heated humidifier and weighs 2.94 lb. American Oxygen inspects and tests each unit, installs a new filter and sells it with a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen. A prescription is required, and the clinician sets the mode and pressures.
