Is bilevel what you were prescribed?
The AirCurve 10 VAuto is a bilevel (BiPAP) device: a higher pressure to breathe in and a lower one to breathe out. In VAuto mode it moves the baseline pressure breath by breath while holding your pressure support steady — so the airway stays open without making you fight the machine to exhale.

The AirCurve 10 VAuto (part 37211) is an auto-adjusting bilevel (BiPAP) device for obstructive sleep apnea in patients over 66 lb. It runs three modes — VAuto 4–25 cmH₂O, S 3–25 cmH₂O and CPAP 4–20 cmH₂O — using the AutoSet algorithm with the Easy-Breathe waveform, plus TiControl inspiratory-time limits and Vsync leak management. It includes an integrated heated HumidAir humidifier, works with ClimateLineAir tubing for Climate Control, runs at about 27 dBA with humidification, weighs 2.75 lb and accepts up to 4 L/min of supplemental oxygen in every mode. A prescription is required. It ships new in box from Doral, FL with the full 2-year manufacturer warranty, free U.S. shipping over $99, Affirm financing, and any compatible mask at 10% off.
CPAP, BiPAP or ASV — what your prescription is actually asking for
| CPAP / APAP | Bilevel (BiPAP) — this machine | ASV | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it treats | Obstructive apnea | Obstructive apnea that needs more pressure support | Central & mixed apnea, periodic breathing |
| Pressure | One level (or an auto range) | Two levels: higher in, lower out | Support that changes breath by breath |
| Breathing out | You exhale against the pressure | Pressure drops so exhaling is easier | Pressure drops, and the breath itself is supported |
| Range | 4–20 cmH₂O | VAuto 4–25 · S 3–25 · CPAP 4–20 cmH₂O | Set by your clinician |
| Humidifier | Integrated | Integrated HumidAir | Integrated HumidAir |
| Warranty here | 2-year manufacturer | 2-year manufacturer | 2-year manufacturer |
| Prescription | Required | Required | Required — plus a safety check |
Quick pick: if plain CPAP pressure works for you, buy the cheaper machine — we sell those too and we’ll say so. Choose bilevel when the pressure you need is high enough that breathing out against it keeps you awake. Choose ASV only if your apneas are central; pressure alone does nothing for those.

Frequently asked questions
My doctor said BiPAP. Is this the machine?
For obstructive sleep apnea, yes — this is the bilevel most clinicians write for. Prescriptions say it a few different ways: bilevel, BiPAP, BPAP, VAuto or two numbers like “IPAP 16 / EPAP 10”. All of those point here. If yours says ASV or names a ventilator, it does not — call us before you buy.
What is the difference between VAuto and S mode?
In S mode both pressures are fixed: your clinician sets IPAP and EPAP and they stay there all night. In VAuto the machine keeps your pressure support constant but moves the baseline up and down as your airway needs it, breath by breath. Most people are prescribed VAuto; the machine does both, so the setting can change without changing the device.
Why does it cost less here than on other sites?
It is the same genuine device, new in box, with the same full 2-year manufacturer warranty — the part number is 37211 wherever you buy it. We stock it in our own warehouse in Doral, FL and sell it direct, and we price it to move rather than to leave room for a discount code. If you find something about this listing that does not add up, call us and ask.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. A bilevel is a prescription medical device and the settings have to come from your clinician. Masks, tubing and filters ship without a prescription — only the machine requires one.
Does it come with a mask?
No — masks are personal and sold separately. Add any compatible mask here and take 10% off that mask, or buy the machine on its own and choose later. Bilevel pressures run higher than CPAP, so mouth leak matters more; many VAuto users end up in a full face mask.
Can I use oxygen with it?
Yes — it accepts up to 4 L/min of supplemental oxygen in all modes. Turn the machine on and let the air flow before you open the oxygen, and turn the oxygen off first when you finish.
Can I travel or fly with it?
It is a home machine with a humidifier, not a travel unit, but it is airline-friendly and fits in a carry-on — PAP devices don’t count toward your carry-on limit on U.S. airlines. Empty the humidifier before you fly. If you travel constantly, ask us about a travel CPAP instead.
