Why genuine parts matter on a medical device
The cheap part protects the expensive one
Filters cost a few dollars; columns cost over a hundred. Keeping a clean, correctly-sealing filter in the unit is the single cheapest thing you can do to make the columns last.
- Rinse washable particle filters regularly
- Replace intake and HEPA filters
- Replace columns when output or purity drops
Runtime, chargers and flying
Batteries wear with charge cycles, not with age alone. Keep a spare if you leave the house for long stretches, and remember lithium batteries fly in your carry-on only — never in checked baggage.

Where to find your model number
The label on the unit is the answer — not the box it came in.
Most wrong-part orders come from guessing between similar models. Thirty seconds with the label saves the return:
- Portables: label on the back or under the unit
- Home units: label on the back panel, near the power cord
- Write down the exact model (G4 and G5 parts don't swap)
- Note the part number if the old part has one
- Rove 4 and Rove 6 are different machines
- Zen-O and Zen-O Lite take different parts
- P2, P2-E6 and P2-E7 differ — check the suffix

Do I need a prescription to buy filters, batteries or cannulas?
No. Accessories and replacement parts — filters, columns, batteries, chargers, cannulas, tubing, bags — do not require a prescription. A prescription is only needed for the oxygen equipment itself.
How do I know which part fits my machine?
Find the exact model on the label on your unit (for example "Inogen One G5", "Rove 6", "Rhythm P2-S4", "Zen-O Lite") and use the tabs above to filter to that family. If you're not sure, call us with the model number in hand and we'll tell you exactly which one you need.
What are columns or sieve beds, and why do they matter?
They're the part that actually makes the oxygen — they separate oxygen from the nitrogen in room air. Over time they saturate, and the unit puts out less oxygen or throws a purity alarm. Replacing them usually brings a tired unit back to full output.
How often should I change the filter?
Particle filters are rinsed and reused; intake and HEPA filters get replaced. The exact interval is in your model's manual, because it depends on the unit and on the environment it lives in. We sell user manuals if you've lost yours.
Are these genuine parts?
Yes. We sell genuine factory parts for every brand we carry. We're an authorized dealer for OxyGo, Rhythm Healthcare, React Health, GCE and O2 Concepts, and we stock genuine Inogen, Philips and Drive parts.
Why not buy a generic filter or battery?
Because the machine is calibrated around the genuine part. A filter that doesn't seal properly lets dust reach the columns, and a generic battery may not communicate with the unit's electronics. On a medical device, saving a few dollars there gets expensive.
How long does a portable concentrator battery last?
It depends on the model, the setting you run, and how many charge cycles it has been through. The clear sign it's wearing out is runtime dropping noticeably from when it was new. We stock single and double batteries for the most common models.
What's in an annual maintenance kit?
The parts the manufacturer specifies for that model's one-year service, in a single box. It works out cheaper than buying the pieces separately, and it stops you from missing one.

Can I fly with a spare battery?
Portable concentrator lithium batteries travel in your carry-on, never in checked baggage, and each airline sets its own limits on how many. Confirm with your airline before you fly.
