This is a genuine AirSep NewLife Elite that has been used before. Our team inspects it, tests oxygen purity and flow, runs it against manufacturer performance specs and services it before it ships. Cosmetic condition varies from unit to unit, so ask us about the one you’d receive.

It’s sold with a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen covering functional issues under normal use. The warranty on this unit comes from American Oxygen, not the manufacturer.

Discontinued by the manufacturer: what it means for you

CAIRE, the manufacturer, ended production and sale of the NewLife Elite 5L on October 7, 2021. It said the sieve material these units need was no longer available, that it would continue to provide service and parts for select components based on material availability, and that the Companion 5 is its primary replacement.

What that means for you: every unit we sell is tested and certified before it ships and carries a 1-year warranty by American Oxygen. The sieve beds on these units have been replaced. Beyond that, we don’t promise specific replacement parts; if a particular part matters to you, ask us before you buy.

Prescription, safety and alarms

A prescription is required. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician, and the flow must come from your prescription. The manufacturer states that the Elite is not intended for life-supporting applications.

Every version alarms on a power failure; the rest of the alarm set depends on the year the unit was built. These units have the oxygen purity indicator (OPI), an option on the Elite that not every unit carries.
