Installation & Care (Quick Guide)

Power off the concentrator.

Gently pull the old filter off the intake grill.

Rinse the filter with mild soap and warm water; do not wring.

Air-dry fully (no heat, no sunlight).

Reinstall: align and press the clean, dry filter onto the intake until it sits flat.

Replace if the mesh is loose, warped, or damaged.
Pro tip: Keep a spare filter so one can dry while you use the other.

3) Can I run the device without the filter?
No. Operating without the intake filter risks debris entering the device and can affect performance.
4) Is this the same as the “intake filter assembly”?
No. The particle filter (RP-405) is the external washable screen. The intake filter assembly is a different internal/behind-grill component replaced less often.
5) Does it fit G5 or Rove 6?
No. Those models use different filter parts. See our G5/Rove 6 particle filter page.
